In the wake of the tragic shootings in El Paso, Texas and Dayton, Ohio; it can be easy to retweet those speaking truth to power and just move on. One can often feel hopeless in troubling times, like their voice is not being heard or that there is nothing they can do to help out those affected. Good news: there’s a lot you can do! I’ve compiled a list of organizations below that you can donate to or be involved in; some are directly helping the victims and their families and others are working to combat gun violence in general.
